Sag removal is one of the newest services at UVT, INC. In 2008 we added this service to
all western states. Sag removal is one of the services that provides help to Contactors, Cities, Counties and Engineers. Sags in sewer lines may occur due to non-stable ground conditions or improper bedding materials. There are two ways to approach this situation: costly excavation or using this machine to remove the sag. The NO-DIG method costs 50% or less than excavation.
The NO-DIG method of removing sags have been approved by CITIES, COUNTIES, ENGINEERS and CONTACTORS.
The sag machine removes the sag by high frequency vibration of the material that is above the pipe is vibrated to under the pipe to restabilize the bedding material zone, re-establishing a consistent flow through the pipe with no dips, bellies or sags. In the past when there was a sag in the sanitary sewer line new or old, the contractor would have to get into a dig and re-dig situation. After the sags are removed there is a constant even flow throughout the pipe.
PIPE RE ROUNDING:
The pipe re–rounder will restabilize the pipe zone material and relieve the stress on the pipe bringing the pipe back to its original shape. In doing so, it relieves the stress from the pipe memory, which prevent future breakage of the pipe.
